Niemeyer Sphere, Kirow Werke Leipzig

Shortly before his death the Brasilian architect Oscar Niemeyer designed a canteen for the Kirow Werke in Leipzig. In 2016 the construction of the canteen began in the shape of a sphere made of concrete which is set on the existing brick building. The single construction phases are documented for the owner and the architect.
